As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance AU Access, we’ll soon be updating how students, advisors, and faculty access registration and academic tools.
What’s changing?
Beginning Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, advising tools will move to the Advising tab under the Advising Menu card within the AU Access portal. During this transition, there is no expected downtime, and your access will remain unchanged, just relocated. This change will occur after academic registration for Spring 2026.
Current AU Access View:
Currently, the Faculty Services Advisor Menu and Student Information Menu tools are found by navigating to the Employee tab under the Employee Services card > Self-Service > Faculty Services tab, as shown below. These are the top two selections you will see under the Faculty Services tab. On November 24, these two options will be removed from this screen and their functions will be relocated.
New AU Access View effective Monday, November 24:
On November 24, you can access various Advisor Menu and Student Information Menu functions by navigating to the Advising tab > Advisor Menu card > Advisee Student Profile, as shown below.
From Advisee Student Profile, you will see the following Advisee Search page. Use the Advisee Search page to select the term for which you would like to search for a specific advisee to view their student profile information. You may also click "View My Advisee Listing" to see all advisees assigned to you in the selected term.
From the main Advisee Search page, you can also navigate to the following pages by clicking the four-square icon in the top-left corner and selecting Banner > Faculty and Advisors.
a. Click the four-square icon in the top-left corner.
b. Click Banner.
c. Click Faculty and Advisors.
From here, you will see various faculty, advisor, and student menu options that you can click to access.
Other AU Access updates this fall include:
- Nov. 14: Student registration and student records tools (after academic registration for Spring 2026)
- Dec. 16: Faculty services menus (after final grades and commencement)
