The following technology services are handled by the Auburn University Libraries, which is a different department than the Office of Information Technology.
The AU Libraries offers three computing spaces that offer a wide range of current software supporting all disciplines across the Auburn campus. These spaces are located in the following areas:
The Libraries' computing resources are available to students and faculty for their course assignments and research. While most software is cross-platform, some software is Mac or PC specific. The computing spaces provide both types of computer hardware. For a listing of MacOS and Windows applications available on the computing resources, visit the Library Computing Software site.
Short-term laptop loans are available for check out for three weeks and can be renewed one time after initial checkout. The laptops have access to core academic software that is pre-installed.
