Tuesday, May 12, 9:30 AM Update: Canvas Access Restored

Access to Canvas has been re-enabled for students and instructors.

As part of Auburn’s ongoing efforts to strengthen account security, instructors and TAs are now required to use MFA/Duo when accessing Canvas.

For Canvas assistance, faculty may contact the Biggio Center at bighelp@auburn.edu. Students may contact the IT Service Desk at itservicedesk@auburn.edu or 334-844-4944.

Monday, May 11, 9:30 AM Update:

Auburn University is starting the process for re-enabling access to Academic Canvas and Canvas Catalog. 

Friday, May 8, 7:45 AM Update: 

Academic Canvas is unavailable, and additional services may be impacted. 

A security incident involving Canvas vendor, Instructure, is impacting multiple institutions globally. 

Faculty and students should be cautious of unexpected messages claiming to be from Canvas or Auburn and avoid clicking links or sharing credentials. Additional phishing awareness guidance is available at aub.ie/reportphishing.

As part of Auburn's efforts to strengthen account security, MFA (Duo) for Canvas teachers and TAs will take effect Tuesday, May 12.
