Sending an Email on Behalf of Another User

Before you can send an email on behalf of another user, you must first be their “delegate”. To set up a delegate, please view the following KB Article “Creating or Managing Delegates in Outlook”.

1.  To send a message on behalf of a different user:

2.  Click the drop down arrow next to From and select Other E-mail Address. Type in the address of the user or select it from the address book. Do not select it if it is populated (this will not send on “behalf”). Click OK.
Add from address

 3.  Select the recipient and create the body of your email. Send the message. In the Inbox view, you will see the sender, but on the email it will show Your Name on behalf of Other User Name.
