To configure your iOS device for Auburn email using the native iOS mail app, follow the instructions below:
1. In the "Settings" app, navigate to "Mail > Accounts > Add Account." (Note: If you have updated to iOS 18, go to Settings > scroll down to Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts > Add Account and pick up with step 2 below).
2. Select "Microsoft Exchange."
3. Enter your Auburn email address (username@auburn.edu) and select "Next."
4. Select "Sign In." Click "Continue" if prompted.
5. You will be redirected to an Auburn login page. Enter your Auburn password and select "Sign In."
6. Choose from the five options (mail, contacts, calendars, reminders, and notes) that you would like to sync with iOS mail and select "Save." Your Auburn email should now appear in the native iOS mail app.
You can remove an email account from the native Mail app by following step 1 above, tapping on the Exchange account, and tapping Delete Account (this action does not cancel the email account; it just removes it from your iPhone). It can be readded by following the steps above.
