The following instructions provide steps for connecting a Chromebook to eduroam. eduroam is the best wireless option for students, faculty, and staff when it comes to academic and administrative needs at Auburn University.  

 

1. Click the WiFi/network icon on your Chromebook, and click eduroam.
2. For SSID, select eduroam.
3. Set authentication, or EAP method, to PEAP.
4. Set inner authentication, or EAP Phase 2 authentication, to MSCHAPv2.
5. Set Server CA certificate to Do not Check.
6. In the Identity field, enter your full Auburn email address (username@auburn.edu).
7. In the Password field, enter your Auburn password.
8. Click Connect.
