Eduroam is the best wireless option for Auburn University students, faculty, and staff when it comes to academic and administrative needs. When connecting to eduroam on a Linux device, use the following Security settings:
- Security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise
- Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP)
- Anonymous identity: Leave blank
- CA Certificate: None
- Check the box for "No CA certificate is required"
- PEAP version: Automatic
- Inner authentication: MSCHAPv2
- Username: Enter your username@auburn.edu Note: For the username, do not use your email alias, as aliases will not work with eduroam. Use your Auburn username@auburn.edu.
- Password: Enter your Auburn password
- Turn off IPv6
