Outlook: How to Set Work Hours and Location in Outlook Calendar


Auburn employees can set work hours and location (i.e. office or remote) in their Outlook calendar for others to view. The work hours and work location features are available in new Outlook or in Outlook on the Web. If you are not using the new Outlook client, set the work hours and location in the web client. The process is the same for both.

1. Login to your Auburn email account at owa.auburn.edu. Click the calendar icon on the far left.

2. From the calendar toolbar, click "View," then click "Calendar Settings."

3. Click "Work hours and location."

4. Adjust work hours and location for each day as needed.

5. Check the box next to "Show work location on my calendar."

6. Scroll down and adjust the "Share your location" settings as needed.

7. Click "Save."
