Tiger ID: How to Load Your Tiger ID on a New Mobile Device Using GET Mobile

Before You Begin: Check Duo Mobile


First, verify that your Duo Mobile app is installed on your new phone device. If your Duo pushes are not coming through or your Duo Mobile app says that your account is disabled, try these reactivation steps:

1. In an incognito/private window on a web browser from your mobile device, navigate to auburn.edu/duo and log in with your Auburn credentials.

2. You should see the Duo Universal Prompt and a Duo Push authentication request. In the lower-left corner, select "Need help?".

3. Under "I got a new phone" select "Activate Duo Mobile."

4. If your phone number has not changed, select "Text me a link." 

5. After you tap the link, it will prompt you to open your Duo Mobile app, and your Duo Mobile will be reactivated.

6. For more information on reactivating Duo, visit aub.ie/duoreactivate.

Unlink The Existing Tiger ID


Instructions through Tiger ID (GET Mobile App) are for compatible iPhone, Apple Watch, or Android phone devices. 

1. Login to Tiger ID (GET Mobile App).

2. Select "Settings."

3. Select "Unlink Mobile Wallet ID." 

Add The Tiger ID to Your New Device


1. Login to Tiger ID (GET Mobile App) or select the "Home" option if already logged in.

2. Select "Add to Wallet" icon.

3. If prompted, select the device name you wish to add to the Tiger ID.

4. Accept the Tiger ID Terms & Conditions.

Important Notes and Support


The mobile credential is only allowed on one device type (Apple or Android) at a time per student and must always be in the possession of that student. Currently, the system allows for both the iPhone and Apple Watch to be used simultaneously, while only Android phones are supported for that device type. Apple only allows for one mobile credential per Apple ID, so if you are using a new Apple ID on your new device then you must email tiger_id@auburn.edu requesting a one-time only transfer to a new Apple ID. Please know that this can only be done once per student, so you will need to use the new Apple ID on any future new devices moving forward.

Please know that sharing of your mobile credential is a violation of University policy, and violations of this policy will be subject to view by the Office of Student Conduct.
