Which Zoom Account are You Using?
Auburn offers students and employees a free Zoom account with unlimited use. A personal Zoom account will only allow you to schedule a meeting for 30-40 miniutes.
How can you determine which Zoom account you are using?
- Always go to auburn.zoom.us to log into your Zoom account. If you are given the option to use “SSO” to sign in, that will allow you to enter your Auburn credentials.

- If you have a personal Zoom account tied to a personal email, you may have to log out and log in with your Auburn credentials.
- Once logged in, there are two ways to see which account you are using.
- In the far right had corner, click your picture or your initials.

- Click on the photo or initials. A pop up will show the name, email address, and the word “Licensed” (Auburn account) or “basic” (personal account).
- Another way to see your license is to use the menu bar on the left side of the screen.

- Click on “Profile” and you will see information similar to that in step #5. Again, you are looking for “Licensed” (Auburn account) or “basic” (personal account).
