Within AU Access, employees and students have the ability to update their personal contact information, including preferred name, personal pronoun, addresses and phone numbers, and emergency contacts.
1. Log into AUAccess.
2. Navigate to Personal Information.
3. From Personal Information, you can make the appropriate changes in each section with options to edit an entry, delete an entry, and add a new entry.
4. Alternatively, by clicking the four-square icon in the top-left corner and selecting Banner > Personal Information, you will also see a menu of options relative to personal information updates.
Note that the "Name Change Information" and "Social Security Change Information" options link out to Knowledge Base articles with more information.
5. After making changes in Personal Information, allow 24-48 hours for changes to sync across all Auburn University resources, such as Outlook, Canvas, etc.
