Can an iPad be used with LockDown Browser?

 

The iPad Edition of "LockDown Browser" (available from the Apple App Store) enables a student to use an iPad to take exams that require LockDown Browser. For exams using only LockDown Browser (not Respondus Monitor), the iPad edition is automatically enabled.

 

A student should follow the steps outlined in this Respondus KB article (Instructions for Students) in order to take an exam with the iPad edition of LockDown Browser.

Respondus Monitor is a separate application used with LockDown Browser to deter cheating during non-proctored exams. Respondus Monitor is also supported with the iPad edition of LockDown Browser; however, an instructor will need to enable iPads for Respondus Monitor exams.
