Adding a Nintendo Switch to GameNet

Your Switch must be registered on GameNet in order to connect it.  To register the system, follow these instructions.

 

1. Turn on the Switch.  You are taken to the Home menu. From here, select “settings.”

 

 

2. In settings, find “internet.”  Here you will find the MAC address needed to register the device at gamenet.auburn.edu.

 

 

3. Once you’ve registered the device and turned it off for 30 - 45 minutes, turn the switch back on and return to the internet screen.  Select “internet settings.”

 

 

4. Find and select “AU_GameNet” and you should be able to connect successfully.
