Instructional Methods Information Sheet

 

During the current term, classes will be moving from two methods of delivery to four methods of delivery.  Instead of “on-campus” and “distance”, classes well be taught using one of the four instructional methods below:

1. Face-to-Face (F2F) courses are conducted in person. 
2. Blended (BLND) courses involve some instructional activities that are conducted in-person while other instructional activities are conducted online; students must be available for both online and in-person activities and do not have a choice about which is required at which time.  
3. HyFlex (HYFL) courses are conducted face-to-face but are available online simultaneously; students can choose which of these they prefer.
4. Online (ONLN) courses are conducted online in their entirety.

Advisors can view a student’s schedule with instructional methods in View/Print Student Schedule:

Instructional methods are listed as attributes in "Look Up Classes in AU Access" and "Tiger Scheduler" to assist students who wish to adjust their schedule based on instructional method:

Referring students for assistance:

• Last day students can add classes is August 21
• Students may make changes to their schedule themselves in AU Access
