Forgetting a network is often a helpful step when you are having problems connecting to WiFi.

How to Forget a Wireless Network on a Windows Machine:
- Click the WiFi icon in the lower right-hand corner of your screen, and click the Manage WiFi Connections arrow next to the WiFi symbol.
- The WiFi network should appear in the list.
- Right click the network and click Forget.
- Another way is to type Settings in the search box.
- Click Network & Internet.
- Click WiFi.
- Click Manage Known Networks.
- Click the network and click Forget.
How to Forget a Wireless Network on a Mac:
macOS Ventura or later:
- To forget the network that you're currently using, choose Apple menu and System Settings. An alternate way is to click the WiFi icon in the top right corner, and click WiFi Settings.
- Click the WiFi in the sidebar.
- Click Details next to the network you're using.
- Click Forget This Network, then click Remove to confirm.
- To forget a network that you've joined before, but are not currently using, choose Apple menu and System Settings.
- Click WiFi in the sidebar.
- Scroll down on the right and click Advanced to see the known networks on your Mac.
- Click the menu button next to the network, choose Remove From List, then click Remove to confirm.
Earlier versions of macOS:
- Choose Apple menu and System Preferences.
- Click Network.
- Click WiFi in the sidebar.
- Click Advanced to see the networks known to your Mac.
- Select the wireless network you wish to remove and click the minus (-) button located just below the list. Click Remove to confirm.
- Click OK, then click Apply.
How to Forget a Wireless Network on an iOS Device:
- From your home screen, tap Settings.
- Tap WiFi.
- Tap on the "i" information icon to the right of the network name and tap Forget This Network.
How to Forget a Wireless Network on an Android Device: (Exact settings may vary depending on manufacturer and OS version)
- Stock Android (Pixel & most others): Settings > Network & Internet > Internet or WiFi > Tap the gear icon next to a saved network > Tap Forget
- Samsung device: Settings > Connections > WiFi > Advanced Settings > Manage Networks
- Other devices: Settings > Network & Internet > Internet > Saved Networks
