Zoom is a video conferencing platform that allows users to host video meetings for up to 300 participants. In addition to many other features, including integration with Canvas and Outlook, Zoom also allows users to turn on live transcription (closed captioning) for meetings.
- Sign in at auburn.zoom.us to edit your settings.
- Once you are logged in, click Settings.
- Then, under the Meeting tab, scroll down to the In Meeting (Advanced) section.
- Toggle on Full transcript: Allow viewing of full transcript in the in-meeting side panel.
- Since enabling Full transcript will also toggle on Save Captions, you will be asked to confirm this change. Press Enable to confirm.
- You should receive a "Your settings have been updated" pop-up at the top of the page informing you that your changes have been saved.
