Changing Your Preferred Name in Zoom

Auburn University wants to ensure that everyone - students, faculty, and all other employees - have the opportunity to adjust their personal information as needed.  In particular, sharing a first name that may differ from the legal first name is important to many people.  Zoom also allows for adjustments of name.

When users first sign into Zoom at or through AU Access, the displayed information matches the official university record (in Banner).  To change the name information, users go to the Profile tab and find the Edit button in the section that contains their name.  The name and other information (e.g., a profile picture) can be changed and then saved.
