Did You Accidentally Delete Something?

 

If you've accidentally deleted pages, files, announcements, or assignments in Canvas, don't worry! While there are some limitations to this function, you can recover these items.

 

Recovery:

 

If you accidentally delete an item from your course, navigate to your course home page. At the end of the URL, append “/undelete” after your course number.

 

 

The Restore Deleted Items page will display recent restorable items with brief descriptions, creation dates, and last updated dates. Select the item you wish to restore and click Restore on the right. Confirm your choice to restore the item, which will return to its original location in your course.

 

 

Important Note: Some items may have lost associated data upon deletion. Please verify the results of any restorations you perform.
