Service Overview

Voice Mail and Voice Menus and Announcement services are available for Auburn University employees and departments.

Auburn University's voice mail system offers users two options for receiving voice mail messages:

1. Traditional — New voice messages are indicated by the message waiting light on the account holder's desk phone. Users must use a phone to dial into the voice mail system to retrieve messages.
2. Unified Messaging — New voice messages are delivered to the account holder's Auburn email inbox as a .wav file attachment. Users can play the .wav file message on a computer, tablet, or smartphone device. Messages can also be retrieved by using a phone to dial into the voice mail system. Unified Messaging does not utilize the message waiting light on the account holder's desk phone.
