New Features

• Mobile App UI Updates
  • Requested for and Caller information has been added to all tickets on the Mobile App. This includes phone numbers and email addresses for fulfillers who are out in the field to have access to. 
  • Building Name and Room Number have been added to Requests so fulfillers who are out in the field can have access to this information.
  • UI changes have been modified for a better look and feel to the Mobile App.
• IT Dashboard
  • This dashboard was created to be a default landing place for new ServiceNow users, as well as a common ground for IT Providers to utilize, from fulfillers to managers, where you can see your work and your group's work. 
  • This includes the Change Calendar, resource links, helpful knowledge articles, and reports that everyone can use based on the currently logged-in user.

• Dynamic Software Catalog
  • This replaces the previous version of the software catalog, which was a knowledge article. The new software catalog makes use of ServiceNow's robust backend and pulls all available software into one place where you can see who is eligible for it, what platforms it works with, how much it costs, and a link to request or obtain it.

• New Software Catalog Item Layout
  • This new layout makes it easier to read how to obtain the software, as well as allows easier administration and flexibility by adding platforms, eligibility, and categories.
• Surveys (Limited Release)
  • This limited release includes new surveys for a small beta group. We will be testing this feature over the next few cycles to determine how to configure it for scalability.
