Account Basics

Your Auburn University username and password are key to accessing many of the resources the Office of Information Technology provides. Protect your identity by protecting your password.

When you graduate from Auburn, you will remain an active student for one year (three semesters) following your last completed term. After this one-year grace period, you will fully transition to Alumni status and lose access to Auburn resources. For more information, visit aub.ie/gradchanges.

Duo Mobile

Duo Mobile 2-factor authentication protects the personal information of all students and employees by requiring additional approval from a registered device when accessing various Auburn resources. The Office of Information Technology recommends utilizing Duo Mobile for push notifications when initially setting up your Duo account at auburn.edu/duo. Never approve a Duo push that you did not initiate.
