Before You Start

• Make sure both iPhones are charged.
• Connect to a stable WiFi network.
• Update your old iPhone to the latest iOS if possible.

Option 1: Quick Start (Easiest Way)

1. Turn on your new iPhone and place it near your old iPhone.
2. A Quick Start screen will appear on your old iPhone asking if you want to set up the new device. Tap Continue.
3. An animation will appear on your new iPhone. Hold your old iPhone over it to scan.
4. Follow the prompts to set up Face ID or Touch ID.
5. Choose Transfer from iPhone. Your data will copy directly from your old phone to the new one.
   • Keep the devices close together and plugged into power until the process completes.

Option 2: iCloud Backup

1. On your old iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup. Tap Back Up Now.
2. On your new iPhone, turn it on and follow setup steps until you reach Apps & Data.
3. Select Restore from iCloud Backup, sign in with your Apple ID, and choose your latest backup.
