The following instructions show how to free up storage on an iPhone by closing Safari tabs. 

Automatically Close Safari Tabs:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
2. Scroll down and tap Apps, and then tap Safari.
3. Under the Tabs section, tap Close Tabs.
4. Choose one of the options:
   • After One Day
   • After One Week
   • After One Month
   • (or Manually, which is the default).

Close Out Already Open Tabs:

Method 1: From Safari

1. Open Safari.
2. Tap the Tabs button (two overlapping squares) in the bottom-right corner.
3. Press and hold the Checkmark (Done) in the bottom-right corner.
4. A menu will pop up → tap Close All [number] Tabs.
5. Confirm by tapping Close All [number] Tabs again.

Method 2: From the Tabs View

1. Open Safari.
2. Tap the Tabs button (two overlapping squares).
3. Tap and hold on any tab thumbnail.
4. Choose Close Other Tabs.
