The Office of Information Technology urges all faculty, staff, and students who use iPhones to update to Apple’s latest iOS 26.2 software immediately. Apple has released this update to address multiple security vulnerabilities, including at least two flaws that are already being exploited in active attacks, which could compromise device security if left unpatched.
Updating your iPhone helps protect your personal and University data from current threats and ensures your device benefits from Apple’s latest security improvements. To update, go to Settings > General > Software Update and install iOS 26.2 at your earliest convenience.
